The Product Development Management Association, is the non-profit, pre-eminent organization focused on product development mgmt practices. 

We have worked with the Southern Regions VP of chapters to establish a chapter within the Greater Washington, MD, and Northern Virginia area.

In 2009, our CEO has taken on the chapter president role, along with board members from Siteworx.com, and Jiang & Associates to re-establish a forum for product development professionals in the DC area.

The Boy Scouts of America in the National Capital region supports many Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops. 

We have worked both as Assistant Scout Masters for Boy Scout Troop 781 (Derwood, Md), and Co-leader for Cub Den 178.

We continue to encourage boys who have joined the troop and den to demonstrate the character and citizenship that is part of the Scout Law, to be:
- Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent.

The Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital has a rich and diverse associations, and units throughout the national capital region.

We are proud of the accomplishments of Association #31, Derwood, as it helps encourage their girls to be leaders within their communities, through achievement of their silver and gold awards.

We have participated as assistant leaders over the years, helping to mature the girls in our community to become successful young adults.

Junior Achievement is the world's largest non-profit organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, & financial literacy through hands-on programs.

Grindstone participates in the National Capital JA, recently teaching 3rd graders the "Our city" program, and 7th graders the "Global Market Place" program.

We chose JA as an effective means of encouraging school age children to consider careers in business & entrepreneurship.
